“Before joining the Launch Your Hospital Career 2024 program, I felt lost and disheartened by past experiences with job applications and support services. The thought of starting over, especially in healthcare, seemed daunting due to my lack of qualifications and experience.
Everything changed when I came across a Facebook post about the program. Learning that no prerequisites were required beyond a simple assessment, I took a leap of faith and submitted an enquiry.
The trainers and educators from Community College Gippsland (CCG) and West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) were at the heart of this transformative experience. Their dedication made every student feel valued, fostering an environment where we could learn, grow, and gain the skills needed to pursue employment in healthcare.
This program taught me that it’s never too late to learn or try something new. Be brave, take a chance, and embrace the journey—you might just change your life.”
