- Ensure you are eligible to work in Australia
- Be prepared to obtain a Victorian Police Check
- If not a current holder, ensure you are eligible to apply for an employee-level Working with Child Check card or a volunteer-level card if applying as a volunteer
- For secondary teaching positions, you must either hold a valid Victorian Institute of Teaching Care (VIT) or be in the process of obtaining one
- For accredited trainer positions, you must hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or in the process of obtaining one
