Work and Learning Centre

Work and Learning Centre

CCG is proud to be one of five Work and Learning Centres (WLCs) across Victoria. In partnership with the Brotherhood of St. Laurence, we support jobseekers and people living in public housing to access meaningful employment, training and study pathways.

Our WLC provides free, personalised support for people looking to return to work, upskill, or explore further education. The program is designed to build confidence, strengthen independence and support stronger connections within the community.

How can we support you?

Whether you’re looking for work, changing careers, or planning your return to study, the WLC can support you every step of the way.

We work in partnership with your employment provider to offer:

  • Career advice and goal setting
  • Help with resumes, job applications, and interviews
  • Job referrals and employer connections
  • Training and education pathways, tailored to your goals
  • Ongoing support after you start work or study
  • A coordinated, dual service alongside your employment provider

No matter where you’re starting from, we’ll work with you to create a personalised plan that supports your goals and helps you overcome barriers.

About the Work and Learning Centres

Work and Learning Centres are a Brotherhood of St. Laurence initiative, funded by the Victorian Government, designed to empower Victorians by improving access to jobs, education and long-term opportunities.
