Welcome
to CCG
Since 1975, Community College Gippsland (CCG) has been changing the lives of individuals in the Gippsland and South East Melbourne regions as a community-focused provider of adult education and vocational training. Whether you’re looking to build new skills, explore fresh opportunities, or take the next step in your career, we aim to help you unlock your potential through education, training and skills development.
As a community-based not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Registered Charity, we are committed to providing accessible and impactful learning experiences for learners from all walks of life. We focus on delivering nationally accredited courses across diverse curriculum areas.
ECG Secondary College, a division of CCG, operates as an independent school that provides an alternative educational experience for students seeking a different learning environment. We offer classes for Years 9 to 12 at our campuses in Warragul, Leongatha, and Pakenham, as well as for Years 10 to 12 at our Dandenong campus. Read more about ECG Secondary College.
What we do
At CCG, we believe education is more than just a qualification. Our programs are designed to provide you with real-life learning opportunities. Our focus is on practical, industry-relevant skills that improve employability and build confidence, helping you achieve meaningful outcomes. With flexible workplace training, small class sizes, and a supportive environment, our experienced, caring trainers work closely with you to create a learning experience that fits your individual needs. This approach helps you feel valued, so you can walk away with the skills and confidence you need to succeed in the real world.
Accredited and pathway programs
CCG operates four campuses located in Warragul, Dandenong, Pakenham, and Leongatha, making our programs accessible to communities across Gippsland and South East Melbourne. We offer over 30 accredited (nationally recognised) programs, and entry-level vocational education and training pathway programs covering a range of industries and skill sets, including Beauty, Business, Community Services, Education, Hairdressing and Horticulture.
As a registered Learn Local Provider, our pathway courses offer a unique opportunity to gain essential skills and knowledge for transitioning to study, work and daily life. Our programs are designed with adult learners looking to secure their first job, return to the workforce, explore a new career, or build new skills and confidence for further studies or training, in mind.
Supporting businesses
Growing the skill capacity of businesses is also important to us. For businesses, we provide tailored workplace training, designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce. To support recruitment efforts, we provide Learn Local courses that help participants gain employability skills and industry knowledge. Our apprenticeship and traineeship programs are designed to help address the unique needs of the industry to equip staff with the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in their roles. Together, we support businesses to foster a more competent, motivated and productive workforce.
Delivering VDSS
We deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET) to School Students (VDSS) programs. Approved by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), our VDSS programs are designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain industry-specific, practical skills by working towards qualifications to have a head-start in life, while completing their Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) or VCE Vocational Major (VM).
