ECG is seeking a skilled and compassionate practitioner and manager to join our team of youth workers, counsellors and wellbeing staff. The Wellbeing Lead will support the Wellbeing Team to promote students’ personal, social and emotional wellbeing and development by:
- Empowering the Wellbeing Team to promote and deliver activities that encourage a sense of belonging and engagement within the school community.
- Facilitating a preventative approach to wellbeing support, including supporting the Wellbeing Team to develop students’ skills and knowledge in areas such as self-regulation, social and emotional wellbeing, and physical and mental health.
- Providing direct operational support to the Wellbeing Team in managing complex cases and any critical or traumatic incidents that impact individuals, families or the community.
- Leading the Wellbeing Team and developing its capacity and expertise, including creating an induction for new wellbeing staff and supporting the Wellbeing Team’s performance and development.
- Undertaking relevant administrative duties, including chairing meetings and documenting interventions and program outcomes, to provide direction to the Wellbeing Team.
- Liaising at the College level with key stakeholders, including external service providers, to build and strengthen referral networks and engage agencies supporting identified at-risk students.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with post graduate qualifications is the minimum required for this position, either in the fields of counselling, psychology, social work, mental health or another relevant related area.
- At least 2 years demonstrated experience in educational leadership in student wellbeing.
- PACFA Clinical or ACA Level 3 registered.
- Clear Police check.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
