Key responsibilities include:

  • Clarify the class work with the student and teacher or trainer
  • Break that task down into smaller parts
  • Work through each small task with a student through discussion, encouragement, and support to complete the task
  • Provide positive feedback and encouragement and support for the student
  • Scribe for a student
  • Assist with developing students’ IT skills such as emails, formatting, word documents, and internet searches
