We are seeking a passionate and engaging Barbering Trainer to deliver dynamic and sector-relevant workplace training and assessment to learners and provide ongoing support and mentoring that helps our students to achieve their career goals.
This role delivers training and assessment of Certificate III – Barbering (Apprenticeship).
Please note that this role may require travel to multiple locations to deliver training and complete trainee assessments. CCG has company pool cars which can be used for these occasions.
The role
- Delivering training to students in accredited courses that meets or exceeds all regulatory and quality requirements for Vocational Education and Training (VET).
- Ensuring all delivery methods are engaging for a diverse range of learners and learning styles.
- Maintaining professional currency in the relevant industry area of specialisation to ensure skills and knowledge reflect current industry practices.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of compliance and quality requirements for VET training.
- Undertaking a minimum of 6 professional development activities per calendar year with 3 related to industry and 3 related to VET skills and knowledge.
- Contributing to the safety of all students by adhering to the Child Safe Policies, Procedures and Codes of Conduct to ensure all students with CCG are in a culturally safe and inclusive learning environment.

- Minimum Certificate III Barbering – SHB30516
- TAE40122 Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Clear Police Check
- Clear Working with Children Check
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
