Did you know horticulture is involved in everything from the cotton in your t-shirt to the food on your plate?
This is a diverse and growing industry in Australia with a variety of job options.
Learn hands-on skills on our impressive 8 hectare property, featuring hydroponic hothouses, poly tunnels, vegetable gardens, ornamental gardens and an established orchard. You will learn how to construct and maintain gardens, test and improve soil, identify pests and diseases in plants and operate machinery.
This course will give you skills that you can apply in retail nurseries, properties, parks, gardens and nature reserves.
Please wear steel-capped boots and suitable clothing for outdoor conditions (high visibility if possible).

- AHCPGD207 Plant trees and shrubs
- AHCTRF208 Support turf establishment
