- CUAMPF112 Perform simple musical parts in ensembles
- CUAMPF211 Perform simple musical pieces
- CUASOU211 Develop basic audio skills and knowledge
This qualification prepares students for entry-level roles and participation in the music and creative industries, including:
- Assistant musician or performer
- Ensemble or band member
- Live performance support roles
- Entry-level studio or sound assistant
- Community arts and music projects
Successful completion of Certificate II in Music can lead to further training, including:
- Certificate III in Music Industry
- Certificate III in Sound Production
- Certificate III in Music (Performance or Composition)
- Further VET or tertiary studies in music, audio, or creative industries
- The course also supports pathways into VCE completion and post-school education.
