Cultivate your green thumb with the Certificate III in Horticulture. Whether you want to plant a food forest, design landscapes to get lost in or make our planet a greener place, we are ready to get you started.

At CCG, you will enjoy hands-on learning on our 8-hectare property featuring:  

  • state-of-the-art hydroponic hothouses 
  • plant nursery 
  • orchard 
  • vegetable gardens 
  • ornamental gardens  

As a trainee, you will benefit from extending the on-the-job experience through formal training. Our professional staff come to you in the field, allowing you to earn while you learn. Trainees are also welcome to attend an optional weekly training session on campus to further develop their skills and knowledge.  

Topics covered include plant identification, healthy soil development, managing plant nutrition, pests, weeds, diseases and disorders, chemical treatments, specialist tools, systems and machinery. The course will be tailored to suit your workplace needs in consultation with your employer. 

To study this course, you must be signed up as a trainee and employed in the horticulture industry.
