The Certificate III in Horticulture is offered as a campus based classroom course and a Traineeship. This course will assist you in developing a broad range of skills covering the many aspects of the Horticulture industry. Topics covered includespruning trees, identifying plans, controlling weeds, pest & diseases and operating & maintaining machinery. The course is conducted at the CCG Warragul Campus, located in a rural farm setting on an 8 hectare property with facilities including hydroponic hothouses, pastures, orchard, farm machinery and equipment.
The campus based course is delivered through a blend of classroom based learning with hands on training in the hot house facilities and surrounding gardens.
To undertake the course as a Traineeship you will need to be signed up as a Trainee and employed in the industry with a contract with an Apprenticeship Network Provider and have nominated CCG as the Registered Training Organisation for providing the training.
