Course Description

Skilled Support Workers are in demand in the rapidly growing disability support industry and your career can take you to places and experiences you might not have imagined.

This course offers extensive opportunities for hands on development of your skills in personal care, communication and quality of life activities. You will enjoy learning from professional trainers with years of experience in caring and putting those skills and knowledge into action in a minimum 120 hours of work placement. This course is offered as both Campus delivery and as a Traineeship.

To undertake the course as a Traineeship  you will need to be signed up as a Trainee with an Apprenticeship Network Provider with CCG nominated as the Registered Training Organisation for providing the training and employed in a registered disability centre.
