Course Description

Caring for and supporting older people and those living with a disability or poor health is an important and growing service. Qualified and professional support workers are in demand and there are great opportunities to create and build a rewarding career.
Starting your career with the Certificate III in Individualised Support will give you the skills and knowledge you need to provide care for a wide range of needs with confidence.

You will learn from trainers who have years of experience in personal support and really understand the keys to providing exceptional care.  You will develop a strong understanding of the principles of support work and then have extensive opportunities to practice your skills both in the class and in the workplace.


To successfully complete the course you need to do a minimum 120 hours of work placement so that you are confident and job-ready to optimise your career and employment opportunities.
 

To undertake the course as a Traineeship  you will need to be signed up as a Trainee with an Apprenticeship Network Provider with CCG nominated as the Registered Training Organisation for providing the training and employed in a registered aged care, disability work or health and community care centre.
