Course Description

Do you believe in the value of education? Do you want to help those that need support to make the most of their education?  Education Support is a key support for primary and secondary students that need that bit extra to be able to effectively participate in their learning?
 

The Certificate III in Education Support is the pathway for your career in education. You will receive training from experience professionals with extensive knowledge of the support and care of learners with special needs in the education system 
 

You will develop the skills and knowledge to effectively work with teachers in the classroom and provide individual support for students learning. The course includes practical training and industry placement so that you will be confident and job ready.
 

To successfully complete the course you need to do a minimum 110 hours of work placement . The campus based course is delivered through a blend of work placement and classroom based theory learning. The course is delivered over a minimum 18 weeks classroom delivery and aimed completion within 40 weeks including the work placement component.

To undertake the course as a Traineeship  you will need to be signed up as a Trainee and have a  contract with an Apprenticeship Network Provider with CCG nominated as the Registered Training Organisation for providing the training and employed in a school.
