Our rural studies programs offer a fantastic variety of career options and opportunities to work outdoors in a career you love. You can train on our campus farm or in your workplace and earn a nationally accredited qualification.

Our campus farm at Warragul will help you to develop industry experience working in a state of the art hydroponics facility, on a cattle stud, or pasture, land and creek environments.

If you want a career working with horses, enrol in a course at our fully operational stable at Logan Park Warragul and work with real race horses every day. CCG’s Gippsland Harness Training Centre prepares students to start or advance careers in the harness and thoroughbred industries or their own horse businesses.

Qualifications in our rural studies programs range from entry level Certificate II and III to higher level Certificates and Diploma courses so you can progress your career into supervisor or manager roles.

Whether you’re starting out or want to advance your career, our courses will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need.

  • School-based apprenticeship.
  • VET in Schools (VETiS) Certificate II in Horticulture, Conservation & Land Management, and Racing (Stablehand) for senior secondary school students. These courses are a great introduction to industry.
